Japanese Americans and World War II

The CU Heritage Center added two stories from University history to a poster exhibition, Righting a Wrong, from the Smithsonian Institution. I dug into school archives for details and images of the Navy's extraordinary Japanese Language School on campus during the Second World War. We also showed how Colorado's Governor Carr protested the imprisonment without trial of American citizens of Japanese descent.
